The Business Incubator is a University driven community partnership between the University of Central Florida and Volusia County. It provides early stage companies with the enabling tools, training and infrastructure to create financially stable high growth/impact enterprises. The client was in need of transforming a portion of the DAB International Airport's existing arrival and departure terminals into Class B secured office and training space.

The scope of the project included a building RE-USE, new occupancy classification, exterior and interior renovation, and site modifications for the existing International Departures Terminal at the Daytona Beach International Airport. The program mandated roughly 11,000 GSF of Class B office space for the well developed and highly successful Business Incubator program administered by the University of Central Florida.

This project was completed on time and under budget with Graham Gilchrist acting as lead Project Manager/ Architect at HHO Architects.
